Dale L. Osborn
After a protracted battle with cancer, Dale Lee Osborn has gone home to be with the Lord. Dale passed away in his home surrounded by family on February 3, 2021 at the age of 76. He was born November 18, 1944 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Edward and Ellen Chapman Osborn and was predeceased by grandson, Camden Greenlaw. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Darlene Kay (Brown) Osborn; daughter Chari (Brian) Mayo-Parmenter and their boys, Zachary and Zeigan; daughter, Kimberly (Brock) Greenlaw and their children, Paige, Lorelei, Serenity, Mathias, and Simon; son, Joshua (Michelle) Osborn and their daughters, Ashlynn and Zoey, and son Gabriel Osborn. One brother; Gary Osborn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dale managed his illness with strength and grace just like he dealt with all experiences in life. His wishes were to spend as much time with his immediate family as possible. On his final day, he was with his wife and children. Dale retired from US Salt with over 30 years of service. Dale loved “anything with a motor” his passion was driving and building race cars, modified race cars to dragsters and anything in between. He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed his bowling league for many years and recently found a love for Kayaking with his wife. He had a passion and love for his family home on Ridge Road and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Dales request to be cremated will be honored and the family welcomes relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E Franklin Street, Horseheads, NY on Friday February 12, 2021 from 3-5pm.
