I didn't know Heather, but my heart goes out to all her family members with ties to Chebeague Island, as well as the rest of her family and relatives. So young, too soon.

I treasure the time that I had with Heather while she lived in Massachusetts. She was a great friend and I enjoyed hearing about her adventures with Spartan Games, parenthood, pets, etc. We have lost a bright and shining star.

Heather was an amazing friend from school, and we kept in touch online, and sometimes played video games together online, squading up in the past year. It was a joy to follow her adventures in dog walking, and get updates about her family and the cats, too. I knew she had cancer, but I had no idea it was so bad. This is a loss for us all.
