Andrea and family: Joe has alway held a special place in my heart even though it has been a while since he and I last saw each other. I will alway have a smile when I remember golf, softball, times at Junior High East and "Walking Tall". (for you Joe) Kathy and I have you all in our thoughts and prayers. MAK

Andrea and family,
Although we cannot be with you physically, you and your family, as well as our many colleagues and friends in the Horseheads school community, are in our thoughts and prayers, and our sympathy goes out to all those who are sharing this sad time with you and your family. Joe was a wonderful friend and we will always remember his sense of humor and sharp wit. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Mr. K was a great teacher and neighbor. I'll always remember being the "ball girl" for his varsity soccer team. Peace and love to everyone. -- Marcy Badertscher
