Kris was the love of Kathy's life for 23 years. She would always smile when she was with him. We used to have great times together at family dinners and get togethers. He had a good sense of humor and was fun to be around. He used to talk about his son a lot and how proud of him he was. He was a good family man and all his family loved him. When Kathy, Kris, Sherry (my wife), and I would go out to dinner, we would talk and laugh for hours and usually be the last ones to leave the restaurant. When my father got real sick and we knew he was close to passing away, Kathy and Kris drove from NY to NC to be there when my Dad passed away. He was very supportive of our family when dad passed away. Kris was also the only one present when my dad was interned at the Veteran's Memorial Wall in Woodlawn Cemetery. He photographed dad's gravestone and sent it to me....that meant a lot. Dad, Kris, and I are veterans and share a common bond. Please know that Kathy and Kris' family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I knew Kris from his day’s working at Harris Hill. He supported my family playing golf 🏌️ at my brothers memorial tournament often. Kris was a genuine good, and decent man. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and friends. RIP Kris!
