Prescott A. West
Erin, NY
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the age of 83. He was born on May 25, 1936, son of the late Clifford and Anna Blauvelt West. Prescott served his country honorably with the US Marine Corps., was employed by Elmira Heights Central School District as a bus mechanic, a member of American Legion Bentley Post #442 and obtained life membership to the EJ Brewer Detachment Marine Corp. League. He is predeceased by his son David West and sister Barbara Havens. Prescott is survived by his wife, Shirley West; children, Kimberly Stanton (Pat Wallen), and Jennifer (Francis) Smith; several grandchildren; brother, Ray (Elaine) West; sisters, Bonnie (Larry) Smith and Patricia (Bill) Queen and several extended family members, friends and neighbors. The family welcomes your condolences and prayers at this time but services will be held at a later date.
