age 83 of Pine Valley, died Saturday evening at the Arnot- Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Don was born in Midway, NY, the son of the late Leon and Gertrude Moss. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed contractor for several years in the Southern Tier. He was a member of the Old Oak Masonic Lodge #364 for 58 years. For 20 years, he was also the judge for the Town of Veteran and a member of the New York State Magistrate Assn. Don felt that his greatest accomplishment was his 54 years of service in the Boy Scouts of America as a leader, district commissioner, and his receiving the Silver Beaver Award in 1976. \nSurvivors include his wife of 30 years, Sandy Moss; a son, Don Moss II; two daughters, Loretta (John) Foulkrod and Donna (Jeri) Austin; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Moss and Joanne Chapman; a sister-in-law, Cathy Moss; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his three brothers, Leon, Elmer aRed,a and Paul Moss; two sisters, Joyce Moss and Maxine (Russell) Jones. \nFriends and family may Tuesday call from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 365 East Franklin St., Horseheads; there will be a Masonic Service held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Valley United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Pine Valley Cemetery.
