Ella M. Colegrove Horseheads, NY Passed away at home with her family by her side on February 24, 2023 at the age of 98. Ella was born September 17, 1924 in Starkey, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Finnerty Murphy. She is also predeceased by her husband, Richard S. Colegrove; brothers, James Thomas Murphy, John Patrick Murphy, Joseph Edward Murphy and sisters, Mary Margaret Senglaub, Catherine Marie Pollen, and Lillian “Babe” Kelly. She is survived by her brothers James Murphy and Thomas(Nancy) Murphy who reside in Florida. Ella retired from Eastern Metal in the accounting department, enjoyed bowling, her pets and spending time with her family. She is survived by Michaela (Thomas) Howley, and Leslie (Randy) Stow; grandchildren, Thomas (Julie) Howley, Kelly (Tony) Johnston, Christopher Stow, Gary Stow, Jeffery Stow (Stephanie), Andrew Stow; twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Ella’s Funeral at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY 14845 on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11AM. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Horseheads, NY.
