HAZEL PEARL CROUCH\n94, of Campbell, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility, after an extended illness. Daughter of the late Martin and Lela Covey Miller, Hazel was born December 12, 1916 in Towanda, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, George Crouch, on April 9, 1983, as well as her sisters Shirley Louise Gee, Thelma Hamilton and brother Donald Miller. Hazel spent most of her life in the Campbell, NY area, where she raised her children and was active with the local senior citizens group for many years. She retired from Phillips Lighting in Bath, NY in 1983. Hazel loved listening to music, especially the Nashville Network and the Grand Ole Opry. Hazel is survived by her daughters, Doris (Robert) Smith of Horseheads, NY, Harriet Jones of Corning, NY, and Joyce (Milton) DeCamp of Savona, NY and her son, George M. Crouch of Welaka, FL. She is also survived by one brother, Richard (Lenora) Miller of Painted Post, NY, and two sisters, Doris Vonderchek of Odessa, NY and Norma Mission of Florida, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Per Hazel's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial in Hope Cemetery in Campbell, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
