Jennifer Hulett Shephard \nCorning, NY\nPassed Sunday, December 5, 2021 after a very long, courageous battle. She was born July 18, 1972 in Elmira, NY to Wayne Albert and Roseann Vigliotti Hulett. In addition to her grandparents and Uncle Kenny Vigliotti, she was predeceased by her precious daughter, Emma Rose. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, William, her son Zane, and her constant companion Vinny, her parents; sister, Michelle Lyn(Ezra)Scott of Nashville, TN, their child Rowan; brother, Michael Wayne Hulett (Katrina) of Apex, NC and their sons, Monroe and Maddox; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Grace Shephard of Horseheads, NY; sister-in-law, Karen (Tory) Abner, her sons, Mason and Marcus of Horseheads, NY. In addition she leaves behind two special aunts, Linda Cleveland and Sue Savino, who love Jenn like their own; best friend Tammy Lee and a host of family and good, good friends, so many to mention. She leaves a host of medical personnel who grew to cherish her. Jenn was a retired, dedicated teacher in the Corning Painted Post School District with a Masters in Elementary and Special Education. She was a businesswoman becoming very successful. During her battle, even though she couldn't partake she became an excellent cook. The cooking channels and specialized cookbooks became her passion. Jennifer grew to cherish the important, quiet things in life, walks with Bill and Vinny, campfires at Tall Pines, Andover, walking Speer Park, and watching sailplanes at Harris Hill. Jennifer brought back experiencing the simple joys in life. Jenn's greatest joy was being a Mom to her son Zane. He has made her more than proud and he will use her strength to move forward without her. Jenn's wish was that she could become an inspiration to others facing adversity. Those that know and love her have no other option than to move forward upheld by her incredible strength. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11AM-1PM. Her Memorial Service and a time of sharing will be held following at 1PM.
